ROYAL CARIBBEAN is aiming to become the major cruise line operating out of Malaga port in 2011. In 2010 the company enjoyed some 63,000 passengers, of which 38,000 were Spanish, starting their cruise from the port of Malaga and are aiming to increase that number to 75,000 this year, said communications director Marc Pedrol.
