Denia Chinese Medical Centre reopens after being closed down

A TRADITIONAL Chinese Medical Centre in Denia that was closed by officials has since reopened.

The 64-year-old owner from Beijing was one of five ‘false’ doctors who were arrested in Javea and Denia.

None of them had qualifications to practice as doctors in Spain or in their countries of origin. They were all released with charges to await trial.

Prior to his arrest, the Chinese resident of Denia apparently claimed that he could cure cancer, sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis with massage and magnetic therapy through a machine of his own invention.
