THE storms may have washed away our belongings and our homes, but they won’t beat us.
That was the message as Almeria recovered from the devastating floods that claimed 11 lives across southern Spain last week.
As the clean-up operation began, residents took stock and started to build their lives again, with expats uniting to offer help and support.
The one British victim of the floods was named as 52-year-old Diana Dudas who ran a hairdressers and holistic therapy business in the town.
