THOUSANDS of people are starting to arrive at Atocha Station in Madrid where a demonstration is due to start at 6pm today. They will then carry out a protest march ending in Plaza de Colon.
This is part of many demonstrations being held across Spain and other European countries including Portugal, Belgium, France, Italy and Greece.
Is is Spain’s second strike in eight months making it the first time Spanish unions have ever held two General Strikes in one year.
