Marbella Port
THE company that was granted Marbella’s La Bajadilla Port project has been given yet another three-month deadline for paying two fees of €750,000 each.
Firm Nasser Abdullah & Sons – owned by Malaga CF football club owner Sheikh Al-Thani – and public company Puerto Deportivo de Marbella have been notified by the Andalucian Public Ports Agency (APPA) that they must pay the annual fees for years 2012 and 2013, according to the conditions in the project’s tender, before April 21.
Besides, the joint company has also been required to fulfil several conditions, including paying the expenses of companies that currently provide private security, management and ship control at La Bajadilla.
They are also required, yet again, to present the port’s enlargement project with an administrative and technical network.
Should these requirements were not fulfilled, they may lose the granted contract.
