Building work underway for two new shcools.
WORKS for building two new schools are on time.
The Posidonia and Virgilio Valdivia Secondary Schools in Las Salinas and Aguadulce are being built at a cost of €3.1 million and €2.6 million respectively.
Despite the works being put on hold over Christmas, the Andalucian Education Deputy Office says both centres will be ready by early March.
But transferring students to their new schools will not begin until an agreement is reached between the schools’ managing boards and the education authorities.
Currently students in Las Salinas are attending their lessons in prefabricated classrooms.
