RED CROSS: €400 from the 41-ers
CALPE and District 41 is a group of ex-Round Tablers. They were forced to retire from Table in their 40s because of the age rule, hence the name 41.
Calpe’s 41-ers have supported various charities recently and donated €400 towards the work of the Red Cross ambulance in the area.
Chairman Keith Beaman, supported by other members, presented the cheque towards the replacement ambulance fund to Chely Crespo, the administrator, accompanied by Caridad Mateo, Nieves Carretero, Puri Tur, Sergio Duro. Councillor Carole Saunders was also present.
Past Tablers are always welcome and monthly lunchtime meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month in the Calpe area. Wives and partners lunch at the same time.
Social events are normally planned for the fourth Thursday of the month. There are no meetings in July and August. For more information, Tablers are invited to contact the Membership Secretary, Ian Ritchie on 965 833 102 or ian@losritchies.com.
