PANORAMA: Almuñecar welcomes Active Tourists.
ALMUÑECAR will be host to some of the most important Finnish tour operators specialising in ‘Active Tourism’. They will be led by the director of the Finnish tour operator ‘Elämysmatkat’, Juss Viskari.
The coordinator for tourism, Rafael Caballero, reported that the visitors will be shown the rich cultural and monumental heritage, the natural resources and the tropical crops that are in Almuñecar and La Herradura.
The Finnish company was formed in 1980 and organises travel both for individuals as well as businesses, who account for half of their clientele.
The demand for Active Tourism is rising and the idea of this trip is for Viskari to include in his travel sales the experience of Sierra Nevada and the city of Granada, or the Costa Tropical for the contrast of Snow and Culture, or Snow and Costa.
