Cal Crutchlow
Cal Crutchlow is making his move to Ducati. Currently with Yahama tech3, he will return to his partner from 2012 Andrea Dovizioso.
The Coventry-born rider, who currently lives in the Isle of Man, sits in fifth behind Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. Moving to Ducati, Crutchlow will be replacing the 2006 title winner Nicky Hayden.
Having made his debut in 2011 in MotoGP and picking up the accolade of Rookie of the Year, he had already won the World Supersport Championship two years earlier. So far, the 27-year-old has achieved six podium finishes and one fastest lap, not forgetting the pole position he picked up at Assen earlier this season.
