Local chief of police Juan Carlos Hernandez confirmed that the Ministry of Interior has approved the continuation of the office following good results achieved in the first four months of operation.
Located in the municipal building Torrejo in May, it aids tourists in their own language including Castilian, English, French , German, Italian, Dutch, Finnish and Russian to facilitate the filing of a complaint and report in the case of minor incidents such as theft or losing documents or passports.
Previously it has been open from 9am-9pm but will operate in the mornings only in the winter months.
