Benalmadena's Flamenco Fashion Parade was a roaring success.
Approximately 1,000 people attended the second Benalmadena Flamenco Fashion Parade, held in Calle Blas Infante, Arroyo de la Miel.
The event was organised by the local Commerce Department in collaboration with Grupo EJ-Eventos and Asazame, as well as local flamenco fashion and accessories stores, and shops in the popular pedestrian street.
More than 80 local women were made into models for the night, modelling dresses by Flamenca Gomez, La Rueda, ‘lamenca Florido, Gema Muñoz, Adoración Martín and El Abanico, and accessories by Tokaitos, J. Ortiz and Sueño Flamenco.
The event was attended by the mayor, Paloma Garcia, as well as the Councillor for Commerce, Ana Macias, and other members of the local council.
They said they were pleased with how the event had gone, especially because it would help to promote local businesses.
Macias explained that the council will continue to organise similar events.
