Vallecano seal Kakuta on loan

Gael Kakuta of Chelsea FC has been signed on loan by CF Rayo Vallecano today for the 2014-15 season. The Spanish club have confirmed this officially on their website.

The player who has been on loan much of his Chelsea career, in fact only playing six games for the London club, is known mainly for the disruption caused by his transfer to Chelsea. The West London team initially received a transfer ban although it did get overturned later.

Despite showing promise as a youngster, Kakuta has rarely been allowed the chance to build on it due to being limited to only 11 appearances in two loan spells at Bolton and Fulham. Following two years at Vitesse Arnhem where he got more playing time, it is possible that Rayo Vallecano have loaned Gael at the right moment, but only time will tell.
