Ryanair Alicante-Manchester flight diverted for ill passenger

A MANCHESTER to Alicante flight had to make an emergency landing when a passenger was taken ill.

Ryanair’s flight FR4007 took off from Manchester at 6.40am heading for Alicante but was forced to divert to Paris Beauvais airport. The sick passenger was met by paramedics before the flight continued on its route.

A Ryanair spokesman confirmed events and apologised to customers affected by the short delay.
