EMERGENCY action training courses are to be given to 325 firefighters and 439 Civil Protection volunteers across the province, the Malaga Provincial Council announced this week.
The courses aim to improve the skills of those who may be called on to intervene in emergency situations including fires, floods, rescues and catastrophes.
The first phase of the project will run until the end of July and members of other security forces and teams will also be able to attend the courses.
People in charge of training local volunteer groups and school staff have also been invited to attend.
More than 2,600 people attended similar courses carried out in the province in 2014.
