EIGHT people have been arrested by National Police in Velez-Malaga for allegedly trafficking with cocaine in the town.
Two of the detainees were minors and are believed to have also taken part in a crime of participation in a criminal gang.
Two drug sale-points have been dismantled in the district of La Gloria.
Six of the eight detainees have been remanded to prison, specifically three women (two sisters and the daughter-in-law of one of them) and three men (the women’s partners).
Authorities carried out home searches where they found and confiscated 33.60 grams of cocaine, 50 grams of marihuana, five grams of hashish and precision scales, as well as other material used to produce the substances.
