A MALAGA dog owner has been charged by the police for failing to keep her dog, which bit a young girl, muzzled and on a lead in public.
The dog allegedly attacked an eight-year-old girl playing with friends on the city’s seafront, causing an open wound to her knee.
While the girl’s parents took her for medical treatment, police officers discovered that although the dog’s paperwork was in order, it had also bitten a woman six months ago and was classified as a dangerous animal.
The officers decided to charge the owner and pass the case onto the city courts.
