NATIONAL Police in Alicante are investigating the death of a man in his 30s who was recovered from the water at Isla Marina on Sunday May 31 by local police and firefighters. The incident occurred at about 4pm when several members of the public reported that a man had fallen into the water.Police officers arrived promptly on the scene and tried to revive the victim. For a full 40 minutes police performed emergency first aid resuscitation but without success. A SAMU ambulance crew continued to try to save the man’s life but to no avail.
