THE four days of strikes called by the air traffic controllers’ trades union USCA are expected to affect more than 432,000 passengers at Palma’s Son Sant Joan airport.Strikes have been scheduled to take place on June 8, 10, 12 and 14. The Ministry of Development has established a minimum service of 70 per cent. Strikes will take place from 1am to 12pm and between 6pm and 8pm.The protests have been organised against the decision of the company in charge of Spanish air traffic control, Enaire, to sanction 61 controllers who did not attend their workplace or left on December 3 and 4 due to strikes.
