Spanish journalists believed kidnapped in Syria

THREE Spanish journalists are bellieved to have been kidnapped in Syria. Antonio Pampliega, Jose Manuel Lopez and Angel Sastre, who were working as freelance reporters in the country have disappeared in the city of Aleppo, according to Spanish digital newspaper ABC.
They were last heard from on July 11. The identity of the possible kidnappers is still unknown.
Mr Pampliega was part of the research team for an episode of Spanish TV show Infiltrados, broadcast on Cuatro. The programme’s first episode featured an investigation into the Spanish nationals recruited by militant radical Islamists.
