Cleaning campaign continues in Torremolinos

AN intensive cleaning campaign launched in Torremolinos for the summer months will continue throughout October and November, the council has announced.

To reinforce the measure, which will mean 32 workers taken on by Litosa municipal cleaning company remain in work, a citizen awareness campaign is due to be launched across the town, social media and local schools reminding people to follow the rules and help keep the town clean.

Litosa has also announced that new underground waste disposal facilities have been installed on Calles Centurion, Cordoba, Gregorio Marañon, Campillos, Loma del Colegial and Rio Guadalope providing 16 new bins for organic waste, 16 for plastic containers, six for glass and six for paper.
