JAVEA: Children marking out the walking route to school.
A GROUP of Javea children have been marking out safe routes to local schools. Pupils and members of the local Children’s Council met in the Plaza de la Iglesia, where an open air workshop was set up assist with the Pas a Pas (Step by Step) scheme.
Approximately 30 children spent two hours painting the cut-outs that will indicate the walking route to get them safely to school and back.
In coming weeks these will be put into place to show the way through Javea’s old town to the Maria Imaculada, Vicente Tena and Graull schools.
