SAID to be ‘tired and emotional’ after visiting a number of bars in Tenerife where he now lives, 37-year-old boxing legend and former world champion Ricky Hatton tweeted in the early hours of August 7 ‘I have nothing left’
This immediately received responses from his parents and followers encouraging him to put himself into a better frame of mind as he still had plenty of supporters even though he was no longer boxing but had moved into promotion.
The problem appears to have stemmed from a series of arguments with his fiancée Jennifer Dooley but his parents advised the Sunday Mirror that “it was one of those things” and ”He’s fine”.

Married to Ophelia in Gibraltar in 1978, John has spent much of his life travelling on security print and minting business and visited every continent except Antarctica.
