SPAIN’S Deputy Prime Minister has called on woman to report any case of gender violence they have seen, heard about or suffered at the hands of.
Carmen Calvo said complaints to police were “vital” to ensure the victims of gender violence were protected.
“None of the victims of gender violence so far this year reported their partner or ex-partner’s behaviour to the police,” Calvo said.
It comes as six women have died in alleged gender violence-related killings so far this year, according to government figures.
