BREAKING: Man found shot dead near water treatment works on Spain’s Costa del Sol

POLICE on the Costa del Sol have found the body of a young man shot dead near an industrial estate in Malaga today (Sunday).

The grisly discovery was made on a road at the back of the city’s Guadalhorce water treatment works near the Carretera de la Azucarera Intelhorce at midday this morning.

Paramedics were only able to confirm the death of the young sub-Saharan man, who has not yet been identified.

Once a judge has authorised the removal of the body it will be taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine in the city where an autopsy will be performed.

National Police are investigating the shooting.
