A TOURIST bus has crashed leaving ‘several dead’ and others injured after it careered off a road and landed on top of a house this afternoon (Wednesday).

The accident happened on the holiday island of Madeira when the bus left the road on a bend before coming to rest against the roof of a house in Canixo, in the south-east of the island.
Local sources said the coach been carrying around 50 ‘foreign’ tourists – possibly German.
At least 14 ambulances are reported to be at the scene.
