TWO men had to be rescued from Marbella’s La Concha mountain in a night time operation.
The hikers, described as ‘foreign’, called for help at about 10 pm on Friday, saying that one of them was suffering from dizziness and was unable to walk.
They told firefighters their approximate location and were instructed to sit it out and not move from the spot, which was in a hard to access location with steep, rocky paths.
Marbella’s Fire Department and the Guardia Civil then launched a joint operation and finally found the hikers. They brought them down the mountain, reaching safety at 3am on Saturday.
