The Animal Feel Association has denounced the decision made by Daya Nueva Council to slaughter more than 60 Vietnamese pigs, which were abandoned in an enclosure located in the town’s urban area.
Many of these animals were drowned during the floods, but the survivors are destined to be slaughtered.
Several Animal Associations have tried to reach an agreement with the Council to avoid the slaughter of these animals, but despite these efforts, Seprona have been ordered to take the pigs to a slaughterhouse.
The pig is one of the most sensitive animals in the world as well as being one if not the most intelligent, after all they have been through recently knowing this do they deserve to be slaughtered ?
