A BRAWL broke out in Madrid last night (Monday) between a number of young people who are believed to be members of two Latin American street gangs.
Seven people were injured during the fighting which happened in a number of streets in the Puente de Vallecas area.
One was treated for four gunshot wounds in the back and two were stabbed whilst one was slashed in the face and the others received general injuries.
Police arrived in order to calm the situation and to allow the emergency services to take the wounded for treatment to hospital.
There is apparently ongoing friction between the two groups which last night boiled over into violence.
