Football Superstar Home Burglaries Continue In Spain

Athletico Madrid midfield superstar Thomas Partey suffered his second house robbery attack in Spain, less than one week when thieves stormed his home on Saturday night.
 
The Atletico Madrid players house is in a plush neighbourhood of Madrid.
 
It was attacked by armed burglars again as he was travelling earlier in the day with his team-mates to Valladolid.
 
The burglars failed on their first mission as they were thwarted by the player’s sister who was then present in the house.
 
Now just four days after the house was raided in a similar style.
 
High profile football players are on high alert. 
 
The wave of burglaries has spread throughout Spain on players homes in recent months and has affected players from different La Liga teams such as FC Barcelona, Villarreal CF, Real Betis or Valencia CF.
 
A week ago, on Saturday, Casemiro also suffered a burglary while the Real Madrid footballer played the derby against Atlético de Madrid. The robbers fled the house with watches, jewellery and some digital gadgets. other high profile football targets have been Zinedine Zidane, Benzema, Isco, Lucas Vasquez, Morata, Kondogbia, Jordi Alba, Arthur, Coutinho, among others.
 
Also last week, former Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari was also the victim of a robbery attempt.
