Bowling in memory of Moraira and Teulada U3A founder

THIS year’s Moraira/Teulada U3A Bowls competition held in memory of U3A founder and former vice-president Pamela Kershaw attracted 28 players.
The competition, which was organised by the Group Leaders of the Wednesday Group, David and Eileen Haxon in conjunction with the Group Leaders of the Monday Group, Ray and Pauline Durrant, was staged at the Inn on the Green in Javea on the last day of October.
U3A President David Haxon welcomed everyone and hoped members would have an enjoyable and successful day before the knockout competition got underway.
Following an exciting and closely fought final, the winning pair were Norman Benn and Michael Dawson.
The runners-up were Michael Masson and David Osbourne. 
David Haxon presented the Challenge Cups to the winners and the runners-up.
