Thomas Griffiths who stabbed his 17-year-old girlfriend to death in a brutal murder has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 12 years and six months.
Thomas Griffiths at 17 years old , stabbed to death Ellie Gould at her family home in Calne, Wiltshire on 3 May 2019 just the day after she split up with him and ended their relationship.
The monster stabbed Ellie in the neck, and then placed the knife in her hand, trying to make the wounds look self-inflicted and a suicide.
The court room at Bristol Crown Court was packed out by friends and family of the deceased young lady and cheered loudly at the sentence handed down.
The young girl’s mother made a personal statement in court saying no mother should have to hold her daughters cold dead hands as she did.
The mother also said ” That that the death of her daughter played constantly on her mind”
Father Mr Gould said his daughter’s death left him feeling “helpless, empty and bitter.”
The jealous monster ex boyfriend will now serve at least 12 years behind bars.
