Guardia Civil made 3 arrests in Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca
A MAN from Calvià has filed a complaint with the police, claiming that he was brutally beaten by two men who pretended to be officers from the Guardia Civil. In his statement, the victim said that he met a girl on a well-known social network site and that they made plans to meet in Santa Ponsa. When he arrived, she wasn’t there where two aggressive men then approached him and identified themselves as Guardia Civil agents. They then reportedly showed him their weapons, threatened his life and then kicked him until he fell to the ground, ordering him to not tell anyone about the beating. It is not known whether the men who allegedly beat the victim were connected to the girl or if it was a case of mistaken identity.
