POLICE have discovered a body in the woods following an appeal for a missing 15-year-old boy in Yorkshire, England.
Officers from Humberside Police were called to a remote location on the outskirts of Skirlaugh in East Riding yesterday afternoon (November 23), finding a body in the woodlands.
A statement from Humberside Police has been released, which stated that “we can confirm that sadly a body has been found in the woods on Benningholme Lane in Skirlaugh”.
We at Euro Weekly News understand that Humberside Police issued an appeal at 5.30pm on Friday evening to try and locate 15-year-old Scott Smith who had not returned to his home in Skirlaugh.
The body is yet to be formally identified with police revealing that they are in the early stages of their investigation.
