Famous Tv Presenter Nicholas Parsons dies at 96
One of Britains favourite Tv Presenters, Nicholas Parsons has died aged 96 after a short illness, his agent said.
Only recently the veteran presenter Nicholas Parsons said he can’t wait to get back to work after a fall on a train last year. His age, 95, had left him unable to host Just A Minute. … he also encountered a bout of ill health and he ended up being taken to hospital in August.
Parsons had hosted Radio 4’s Just A Minute since its inception in 1967.
“Nicholas passed away in the early hours of the 28th of January,” said a statement issued by his agent Jean Diamond.
“He was with his beloved family who will miss him enormously and who wish to thank the wonderful staff at the Stoke Mandeville Hospital.”
