A delegation from Costa Blanca’s Altea attended the closing ceremony of the Yourope project in Brussels. Italy, Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, Poland, Bulgaria and Slovenia as well as Spain took part in the project that headed by Altea and deals with problems that included Euroscepticism, fake news and the role of young people in Europe. The EU’s Committee of the Regions congratulated Altea on its work, Citizens’ Participation councillor Maria Antonia Lavios said on the party’s return. “This was a job well done,” she declared. “Altea had been working on the project for 18 months which has been repaid with acceptance of our proposals for counter fake news and Euroscepticism.”
