Mallorca short film competition up and running

THE fourth edition of the Port Adriano short film competition is up and running.
Amateur and professional filmmakers have until May 17 to present works no more than five minutes in length on a theme of their choosing.
Entrants can either choose to opt for the contest’s classic format, which demands that at least 25 per cent of the film is shot around Port Adriano, or go for the ‘Tripulante’ prize, which allows filming outside the area, but which must include a reference to Port Adriano, whether via images or verbally with the sentence “Port Adriano, un puerto deportivo en Mallorca” (Port Adriano, a marina in Mallorca).
There are 10 different awards and a total of €11,000 in prize money up for grabs.
There have been more than 150 participants in past editions of the competition, now considered an important event in Mallorca’s annual cultural calendar.
