A dozen Alicante police officers quarantined after colleague tests positive

AN ALICANTE police force is severely stretched with a dozen officers down after one of their colleagues tested positive for coronavirus.

AS a result, all 12 San Vicente del Raspeig Local Police officers are in quarantine with their families as a precaution.

Mayor, Jesus Villar, confirmed the situation, and said the council is now waiting for the Health Department to advise on how to proceed and when the officers can return to work.
