Meghan and Harry have collaborated with journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand on a tell-all book which will give their side of the story on their decision to step down as senior members of the Royal Family. Now, new details regarding this collaboration have emerged as several booksellers including Barnes & Noble, Amazon and Bookshop have started providing a preorder option to their clients.
While the digital version will be released worldwide on August 11, the hard copy will be on sale from August 20. The book’s description says it will go “beyond the headlines to reveal unknown details of Harry and Meghan’s life together, dispelling the many rumours and misconceptions that plague the couple on both sides of the pond.”
It continues: “With unique access and written with the participation of those closest to the couple, Finding Freedom is an honest, up-close, and disarming portrait of a confident, influential, and forward-thinking couple who are unafraid to break with tradition, determined to create a new path away from the spotlight, and dedicated to building a humanitarian legacy that will make a profound difference in the world.”
More on the book may emerge in the future and there is no certainty its title will not change, as a few details on the publisher’s website appear to still be a work in progress.
