Footbridge in Spain’s Costa del Sol closed to stop walkers moving from one town to another

The footbridge is now closed Credit: Manilva Council

IN order to comply with regulations concerning movement during lockdown and following advice from Local Police, the towns of Manilva and Casares have now closed the footbridge on the coastal walk which unites the two municipalities.

Although the bridge has been left open during the State of Alarm, as more people are allowed to be out exercising it was considered appropriate to enforce the rules until such time as the two towns enter a phase which allows visits.
