ANTI-DRUGS CONTROL: Routine check in Benissa Photo credit: Benissa town hall
BENISSA hosted a Local Police course on detecting drug use in saliva. The cost has been met by the CSIF union, which represents Local Police officers, in collaboration with Benissa Town Hall, Public Safety councillor Ximo Nadal announced. The 25-hour course for the Valencia region’s Local Police officers provides specific theoretical and practical instruction that enables them to carry out anti-drug controls. This has not been possible until now, owing to lack of training and the necessary technical resources, Nadal explained.
