Bazlama Turkish restaurant in El Paraiso, will transform into the Spanish centre of Turkish culture and cuisine on Wednesday, October 29, to celebrate Turkish Republic Day, marking the founding of the Republic of Turkey in 1923.

The event, which is open to everyone, will be a fun day filled with authentic Turkish flavours, music, and traditions.

Located at Calle Isla Verde 12, Benamara, between Marbella and Estepona, Bazlama invites guests to immerse themselves in the spirit of Turkiye. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy complimentary Turkish tea or coffee and sample gozleme, a traditional stuffed flatbread, while watching live bread-making demonstrations. For those curious about the language, the Bazlama team will offer word cards and pronunciation tips to learn basic Turkish phrases.

The festivities kick into high gear at 7pm with a lively party featuring a DJ spinning Turkish music, traditional songs, and dance demonstrations. Guests are encouraged to join in, learning iconic Turkish dance moves, and to wear red and white, the colours of the Turkish flag, to honour the occasion. “We’re excited to bring the Turkish community and anyone interested in our culture together,” said co-founder Sarah Moravvej. “It’s a chance to celebrate with music, dance, and delicious food.”

Bazlama is famed for its authentic Turkish breakfast, served from 10am to 5pm, priced at €29 per person for an all-you-can-eat brunch. Featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients and family recipes, the spread includes Turkish tea, breads, cheeses, jams, and hot dishes. From 1pm to midnight, diners can explore Mama’s Mezze and a new à la carte menu presenting typical meat dishes and Aegean vegetable specials.

The restaurant’s warm hospitality aims to make every guest feel like part of the Bazlama family. To reserve a table for this cultural celebration, call 951 830 136 or WhatsApp 622 749 506.
