Vera unveils festive December concert programme

THE VERA Town Hall has released its cultural programme for December, which includes a number of exciting musical performances taking place to ring in the holiday season in the municipality. The programme highlights several performances and thematic festivities taking place in Vera, ending with a spectacular candlelight concert that will put the whole municipality into the Christmas spirit with beautiful music.

Vera’s seasonal symphonies

On Friday, December 12, the Children’s Choir will perform at the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación, beginning at 8:30pm. The performance will be a grand Christmas concert, performed by the prestigious Pedro Mena Children’s Choir. Their voices will ring in the holiday season with shining melodies, and it will be a special event to enjoy and disconnect, looking forward to the upcoming joy of the holiday season.

Following that, on Saturday, December 13 at the Vera Auditorium, Vera will welcome the ABBA Symphonic spectacle, a unique experience performed by a symphonic orchestra to pay tribute to the energy and charisma of famed pop band ABBA. The orchestra will perform ABBA’s greatest hits and take audiences down memory lane, in a night that will evoke passion, excitement, rhythm, and nostalgia. It will be the perfect event for residents of Vera to relive the magic of this legendary pop group.

On Sunday, December 21, the String Instruments Sun and Moon Christmas Concert will take place, at the Vera auditorium. The concert will fill the night with joy, tradition, and enchanting melodies. It will be a magical night where the Rondalla instruments will awaken the festive spirit and the excitement of these special dates in Vera. It will be a perfect opportunity for the family to get together and appreciate this beautiful music, sharing in the shining spirit of Christmas.

Finally, on Saturday, December 27, the Vera auditorium will close out the music performances with a Candle Night concert, an experience that will seduce audiences under the glow of hundreds of candles, accompanied by the soothing melodies of string instrument players and a grand piano. Each tune will illuminate the space and allow audiences to enjoy an up-close musical experience, filling the air with the music of the holiday season.
