In March, the Bolnuevo Beach in the Bay of Mazarron will once again become the setting for a unique adventure, where sport and fun combine in an event designed for all lovers of physical activity and those who are interested in engaging in an exciting event. The new edition of the Crazy Run of Mazarron Bay will take the municipality by storm on March 22, 2026, with important new features to boast.

Mazarron Bay’s Crazy Run: An obstacle odyssey for the whole family

The first of the new features is that this year’s edition of Crazy Run will include an expanded age range. Residents as young as 12 years old can participate in the general categories, joining the main circuit.

The race will also include a new course design, with additional obstacles incorporated, alongside the traditional ones. These will offer the runners a renewed and complete challenge that will feel satisfying to complete.

A general circuit will also be available to participate in, with 5 kilometres and 30 obstacles of varying difficulty to offer runners a formidable challenge.

Finally, a kids’ category will be available for children aged 5 to 11, consisting of a 750-metre course with 8 obstacles adapted for children in a non-competitive, fun event, in which all participants will win a medal for taking part.

How to participate in this year’s event

Individual tickets for the event will cost €29, whereas teams and pairs will get a 10 per cent discount. Children will be able to participate and earn their medals for just €5. Registrations will be handled through the event’s official website, crazyrun.es.

This edition of the event will be an exceptional opportunity to enjoy sport, nature and the beautiful coast of Mazarron, both for residents and visitors looking for active, exciting and family-friendly experiences. Residents near Mazarron and Puerto de Mazarron should not miss out on the opportunity to participate in this fun-filled, competitive, and active experience.
