Southern Soul fans on the Costa del Sol can look forward to two unforgettable nights of foot-stomping music when the superb 10-piece live band Midnight Hour brings their spectacular tribute to The Commitments back to Fuengirola by a lot of popular demand.
Midnight Hour delivers the authentic sound of the hit film with powerful vocals, tight brass and infectious rhythms that keep audiences dancing. Expect classics such as Mustang Sally, In the Midnight Hour, Chain of Fools and Try a Little Tenderness, all performed with the energy and showmanship that have made the band one of the hardest-working acts on the coast.
Two nights of Southern soul at the iconic theatre
Performances take place at Salón Varietés Theatre on Thursday, April 9, and Friday, April 10, with both shows starting promptly at 7.30pm. The historic venue in the heart of Fuengirola provides the perfect intimate setting for an evening filled with feel-good music and non-stop entertainment.
Located on Calle Emancipación, just off Plaza Constitución, the theatre offers easy access for everyone, with a great bar and terrace out front. Its central position makes it simple to combine the concert with dinner at nearby restaurants or a drink in one of Fuengirola’s popular bars before the show.
Why audiences keep coming back
Returning after previous sell-out performances, Midnight Hour promises the same high-energy experience that has earned them a loyal following across the Costa del Sol. Sharp suits, big voices and a horn section that drives every song create an atmosphere reminiscent of the original Commitments story.
Advance tickets cost just €20 and are expected to sell quickly given the band’s strong local reputation and the limited number of dates.
How to get tickets before they run out
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased directly from the Salón Varietés Theatre box office or via their website at salonvarietestheatre.com. Early booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment for these two special nights of pure soul music in Fuengirola.
