Caring for pets of all persuasions
Recently we heard from a pet-sitter in our membership who was tasked with caring for a cat who had started stealing laundry from a neighbour’s garden. Tiger was discovered by his owner sitting on a pile of colourful socks in his cat basket. When the pet-sitter arrived she was told categorically to keep Tiger indoors for the two weeks while the owner was away, so as not to further aggravate the neighbour, to whom all socks had been returned.
Fancy a new adventure in pet-sitting?
Pet owners have sitters move in to care for pets and property for free. House-sitters stay in free accommodation and discover a new location. It’s affordable travel with care, without expensive accommodation. Homeowners show you their favourite places to visit. Living like a local is a great way to see the world, one house-sit at a time.
