Lets step back in time and rock the night away on Friday, June 19. Local favourites and popular tribute act Buddy and the Crickets are bringing the golden age of rock ‘n’ roll to the stunning terrace of Restaurant Plaza de Toros Fuengirola.

Classic rockabilly hits live in Fuengirola

The trio sporting the classic line-up of guitar, drums, and upright bass will bring you the exact energy of Buddy Holly and his Texas outfit. Audiences can get in the swing and sing along with the electric renditions of defining anthems like That’ll Be the Day, Peggy Sue, and Oh Boy!. Songs that shaped a generation, and had influences on everyone from The Beatles to The Rolling Stones, and still have the power to fill a dance floor more than six decades on.

This is no ordinary rigid tribute act, the band also wows with a wide-reaching programme that dips its toe into the wider 50s and 60s musical revolution. The night will bounce from Chuck Berry’s signature guitar riffs to the driving piano style of Jerry Lee Lewis, keeping the dancefloor moving from start to finish.

Dinner and drinks at the historic bullring

The concert takes place on the terrace of Fuengirola’s historic 1962 bullring, which now operates as a popular restaurant and live entertainment venue. Located just a short walk from the town centre (near the Bioparc), the restaurant has a gorgeous large outdoor terrace and an impressive selection of over 1,500 wines.
