Charity Christmas Fashion Show in Los Montesinos supports DEBRA Butterfly Children

Fashion and fundraising will come together in Los Montesinos this November when the PA Community & Wellbeing Centre hosts a Charity Christmas Fashion Show in aid of DEBRA Butterfly Children. The evening will give guests the chance to browse and buy outfits while raising money to support children and families affected by the rare genetic condition epidermolysis bullosa.

Christmas fashion show raises money for DEBRA

The Charity Christmas Fashion Show takes place on Friday, November 13, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the PA Community & Wellbeing Centre in Calle San Tarsicio 18, Los Montesinos, 03187.

Guests will be invited to browse and purchase outfits during the evening, combining some pre-Christmas shopping with an opportunity to support the charity.

Tickets cost €6 and include a glass of cava and one raffle ticket, with a selection of prizes available during the event.

Freshly prepared healthy food and other refreshments will also be available from Cafe Zen.

Fundraising helps families living with EB

Funds raised during the fashion show will support DEBRA, the charity helping children and families affected by epidermolysis bullosa, or EB.

The rare genetic condition makes the skin extremely fragile, causing painful blistering and wounds from everyday contact.

DEBRA provides specialist support for people living with the condition and their families, while also working to improve awareness and understanding of EB.

Those affected are often known as Butterfly Children because their skin is described as being as delicate as a butterfly’s wing.

The Los Montesinos event will provide another opportunity for the local community to learn more about the condition while contributing towards the charity’s work.

Guests encouraged to book fashion show tickets

Anyone wishing to attend the Charity Christmas Fashion Show is encouraged to book in advance.

The event takes place at the PA Community & Wellbeing Centre on Friday, November 13, with doors open for the fashion show and fundraising activities from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
