SANTA MARGALIDA Town Hall has started negotiations with at three owners of rural farms that adjoin the high school.
This is because they want to begin the expansion works on the education centre that were planned three years ago. The Town Hall wishes to acquire some 5,000 square meters next to the school and can invest between €60,000 and €75,000.
One of the owners has expressed his intention to sell 2,500 square meters of his land, according to socialist Mayor Miquel Cifre (PSOE), who has offered the other two owners the possibility of buying land at €15 per square metre.
