New walking route inaugurated

A NEW walking route through the Sierra Oriolana from San Miguel to San Anton was inaugurated.

The circular route was created by students of the workshop ‘Mirador de Orihuela’.

“This is something for all of Orihuela and we hope that residents will enjoy it and maintain it in good condition,” said Employment Councillor Juan Ignacio Lopez-Bas.

The San Anton lookout was also remodeled by the students to offer tables to eat at and trees to offer shade.
