Expats to vote

A total of 40,671 expatriates in Malaga Province are eligible to vote in the May 24 local elections according to a National Statistics Institute report.

Yet as the report did not explain whether the figures were taken from expatriates and foreign residents registered on the padron residents’ registries or whether they were for those who had actually registered their wish to vote before December 31, 2014, as was required, it remains to be seen how many will actually be able to vote.
